About My Conflict Management Strategy
When I discussed how we feel about conflict with my group member, each people would feel uncomfortable almost all the time when we conflict. I could predict that answer that everyone feel conflict unconfortable, but it was interesting for me that someone(I am not sure, but Kaoru?) said "When I am certainly sure my win, the conflict is confortable." I learned the situation influences our feeling when we face conflict.
According to a How You Act in Conflicts paper, my conflict management strategy is "Problem Solving". It is true, and exactly I try to find some solutions and to keep my relationship as much as possible. When I face conflicts, I want to be out of the conflict as soon as possible. However, at the same time, Ido not want people to be involved in the probrem and want to keep peacefully.
Recently the cell phone is becoming the usual communication tool with people, especially e-mail, but indeed I do not like it. When I face the conflict with someone and really want to solve the problem, I should meet him face-to-face and discuss our problem. I like the way best. Compered with the way to finding solution, this way is smoother and better to keep my relationship.
Even if it is difficult for me to solve the conflict, I should not avoid it. I have to face the conflict. Of course my conflict management strategy is "Problem Solving" but in order to solve the conflict, the most important things for me is "Face to Face" and then I try to disciss and look for the solution, and keep the relationship.

The Dynamic You-Writing Assignment 5
About Chapter 8 "Lighten Up!"
I have not yet read chapter 10, but this chapter might be my favorite strategy of 10!
Until now, I have wrote about my sention members, and I will also write about them this time :)
In my section, it is natural that we celeblate each member's birthday. One of my section member, who is good at cooking, often bring homemade birthday cake or buy it, we held birthday party at 105.
It is not duty, but we gather there naturally. It is important for us to celeblate each member's successes or achievements and share the atmosphire in order to think a great deal with each other. It is not only birthday but also that someone gets a part-time job, that someone get a boyfriend/ a girlfriend and so on.
When I organize my section members as a leader of my section shop, I feel that my section is playul but cozy. Each my section member is humorous, but especially one of them has a keen humor sense. His word choice to express things is really humorous and he makes so good atmosphire. We work together and we laugh together in order to make a good shop.
When I read this chapter, I remembered the effect by laugher. When I was a high school student, I made a presentation about laughing in the class. What I knew at that time was laughing has the possibility to cure some diseases. I believe that laughing makes people healthy.
I wrote in writing assignment 2, but when things go wrong, I try to laugh or smile at all :) Whenener the situation is not good, lighting up brings us positive thought and changes the wrong situation.
Finally, I liked the short video which we watched last class!
Everyone on the bus started bursting into laughter from one laughing person, and we also laughed. It was as if we were also there. So interesting!

The Dynamic You-Writing Assignment 4
About chapter 6
I would try to write about chapter 7 "Conflict" in the case of my section, but we have never experienced some conflicts so I will write about chapter 6 "Core Team Value" :D
Of course we do not have hierarchy like Shacleton, so we do not have some conflicts among my section.
As you know, we are busy to prepare for ICU festival and as a leader, I want to inform my sectionmates of anything about ICU festival as much as possible. However, not always all of us can meet and do that. I know that they are now busy not only to prepare the shop but olso to prepare for other community's shop or to do a lot of other things, so sometimes I can not inform them of our progress. But I do not care about it because we have a particular thought among us, which is "@105" Maybe you do not understand what it means. Since we were freshmen, all of section AK has spent time at 105 in honkan. We had lunch there together, we talked anything there together and we share a lot of things there together, and these do not change now. When I have something to inform them, if I go to 105, they are there. We can share information.
I feel I digressed into a story of our section, so I have to put back :D
It is important for organizing people to minimize states differences. Even if I am a leader of our section for ICU festival shop, I want to be the same position as the others. "I am a leader, so you have to obey me" This is extremely instance but I hate to be that. Exactly I have to lead them, however, I want to progress with them.
We have the confidence that my sectionmates are especially close friends. However we do not forget to respect and have courtesy each other. "Courtesy should be exercised even among intimate friends." This sentense is Japanese proverbial phrase. I like it. We can cherish each member's personal space and have a good relationship :)
Now we will be busier to prepare for our shop than before. As a leader, I have to lead my sectionmates on the same position as possible and have courtesy for each of them.

The Dynamic You-Writing Assignment 3
About chapter 4
I know that I need the stamina every time I do something, however, this chapter gave me not the importance of having the stamina but the importance of how to use it. Until I read this chapter, I thought I have to care about others first of all when I organize people. When I am a leader, the others follow such me. So I do not want them to be in trouble and to be confused. If it is possible, I want to do everything because I have much stamina comparatively. However this thought is a little different.
For example, now I am a leader of my section for ICU festival. I have to attend the meeting, submit any documents by the due, count the money to need and so on. Exactly I have a lot of other things to do such as homework, part-time job and so on, but I can do them by myself for the moment. Sometimes I feel tired but that is not much of tiredness or strain. I am thankful that my mother bore me with much stamina :)
But I may have to change my mind now. For organiging people and accomplishing something with them, it does not secceed by individual. Indeed I know my sectionmates said me that they corporate with me. I tried, however, to do all because I do not want to task them, although they help me. As Shackleton, caring about not himself but others is one way to organize people, but if a leader lost his stamina and morale at all, the organization will collapses. To be a good leader is essential to care about himself and not to do all alone. Sectionmates is a team, so I have to use my stamina for them and ME.
When I need to vent, I want to deal with the problem by myself and I do not want someone to be confused because of my worries. As I wrote previous assinghment, laughing makes me positive and makes my stamina! When I have made a significant mistake, of course I reflect it and try to find what to do better next, and I laugh thoroughly before I regret it. I have to reflect a mistake, but do not have to regret it.
I learnt the way to use my stamina through chapter 4. As a good leader, it is important for me to understand my limit. And I wrote that I want to deal with the problem by myself without a outlet, but I try to find my Wild or my Worsley :)

The Dynamic You-Writing Assignment 2
1:
When I face with adversity or potential setback, I try to think it positively and make steps to the goal, and do something action. When I have exams and have a lot of things to do, it is nonsense to feel I am busy and unhappy. There is no time to feel it. Start something. In my case, I promise myself to do something I want after doing something I do not want to do. For example, I promise myself, "if you have done this assignment, you can watch youtube for 30 minutes."
2:
I sometimes have, however, things which I can not think positively and I accomplish nothing mentally. At that time, nothing is better than this reaction. Laughing. When I laugh, I am full of happiness and confidence because I am OK during I can laugh. After that, I do something action. I often encourage myself by laughing. Laughing (or smiling) is the best way for me to overcome my adversity or potential setback.

The Dynamic You-Writing Assignment 1
I define that my long-term vision is the ultimate goal that I want to achieve, and short-term goals are the steps to achieve my long-term vision.
For example, when I want to hold a section party and one of my section mate’s birthday is coming, I would like to please him by being celebrated by section mates.
First of all, I plan a section party. I provide some possible dates and promote attendances as many as possible, and I send e-mail to my section mates. I know, however, some people don’t response, so I ask them directly later. When I do that, if I give the name who is the best friend with him as a participant to the party, attendance will increase.
After check attendance, preparation begins. Our section party is usually held in the apartment where a section mate lives alone. I ask him to use there and maybe he permits to use his room. After that, I inform section mates except the birthday person that we will surprise him by celebrating his birthday. It is impossible for me to prepare all, so I give them the role such as the role to buy a birthday cake secretly, to cook, to buy alcohol, to buy snacks and so on considering their characteristics and abilities.
On the very day of a section party, I preside over it. As we enjoy the party and do eye contacts with section mates except the birthday person. One of them pretends to go to toilet. He prepares the birthday cake, turn the light off and sing a birthday song together. The celebration surprises him, and my plan is successful.
Such as getting as many section mates as possible to attend, giving the roles for each person and making the birthday person surprised, these are short-term goals to accomplishing celebration of one of section mate’s birthday at a section party. In each short-term goal, there are a lot of actions. When I succeed some actions, I achieve a short-term goal. When I achieve some short-term goals, my long-term vision is accomplished. (347words)
